NOTICE OF DECISION
BY THE BOARD OF
FIRE TRUSTEES OF
THE BARGERSVILLE
COMMUNITY FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT
TO ISSUE GENERAL
OBLIGATION BONDS

The taxpayers of the
Bargersville Community
Fire Protection District,
Johnson County, Indiana
(the District), are hereby
notified that on October 8,
2025, the Board of Fire
Trustees of the District did
adopt a resolution making
a decision to issue general
obligation bonds of the
District (the Bonds), the
issuance of which was ap-
proved by the Johnson
County Council (the
Council) pursuant to a
resolution adopted by the
Council on November 10,
2025. The proposed
Bonds shall be issued in
an original aggregate prin-
cipal amount not to ex-
ceed $6,600,000, in one
or more series, for the pur-
pose of providing funds to
purchase certain firefight-
ing apparatus and equip-
ment, including, without
limitation, a fire apparatus,
equipment, and any nec-
essary equipment or ap-
paratus thereto
(collectively, the
Equipment), and to pay
capitalized interest on the
Bonds, if applicable, re-
lated and incidental ex-
penses to be incurred in
connection therewith and
the costs of issuance of
the Bonds. All or any por-
tion of the Districts pay-
ments of principal of and
interest on the Bonds may
be payable from ad
valorem property taxes
collected by the District on
all taxable property within
the geographical bounda-
ries of the District. The fi-
nal maturity of the Bonds
will be no later than 20
years after issuance of the
Bonds, and the Bonds will
bear interest at a rate or
rates not exceeding six
percent per annum, the
exact rate or rates to be
determined by means of
public bidding at a com-
petitive sale.
