HEARINGS ON
PRELIMINARY
DETERMINATION

Pursuant to Indiana
Code 6-1.1-20-3.1, notice
is hereby given that the
Common Council of the
City of Greenwood, Indi-
ana (the City), will hold
two (2) public hearings to
consider adoption of a res-
olution making a prelimi-
nary determination to is-
sue general obligation
bonds to fund (i) the Citys
share of Johnson Countys
Smith Valley Road bridge
widening project; (ii) Sec-
tion 1 of the Smith Valley
Road widening project
from US 31 to Woodmen
Crossing; (iii) the Grassy
Creek Road widening proj-
ect; (iv) Section 3 of the
Main Street improvement
project; and (v) the design,
development, construction
and equipping of Fire Sta-
tion No. 92 (collectively,
the Projects and each
separate project a
Project), and the paying
of all necessary and inci-
dental costs of issuance
arising from the financing
required thereby, including
capitalized interest, if nec-
essary.
The first hearing will be
conducted at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the
Common Council sched-
uled for 7:00 p.m. on Mon-
day, November 3, 2025.
