Sealed bids for the City
of Greenwood "Westside
Park Court Renovations"
project. The project in-
volves the construction of
tennis and basketball
courts at Westside Park.
This project will involve
the construction of new
tennis and basketball
courts and will include
cast-in-place concrete,
concrete paving, sport
court surfacing, installation
of chain link fences and
gates, soil preparation,
and installation of turf and
grasses. This project will
only begin after the re-
move of the existing
courts. Removal of the
existing courts are not part
of this project. The suc-
cessful bidder must visit
the existing courts prior to
removal of the existing
courts so that the new
courts under this Project
are installed on the same
footprint as the existing
courts.

Sealed bids for the City
of Greenwood "Westside
Park Court Renovations"
will be received at the City
of Greenwood City Center,
300 South Madison Ave-
nue, Greenwood, Indiana,
46142 between the hours
of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00
P.M., Monday through Fri-
day, and will then be con-
sidered by the OWNER at
a public meeting called to
receive and open such
proposals, provided the
same shall have been re-
ceived by 2:00 P.M. (local
time) on September 9,
2025, prior to the start of
the bid opening to be held
at 2:00 p.m. on September
9, 2025.

THE BID OPENING
WILL BE HELD at 2:00
p.m. the same day in the
City Meeting Room, City
Center, 300 South Madi-
son Avenue, 1st Floor,
Greenwood, Indiana,
46142. This meeting will
be open to the public and
members of the public
wishing to observe this bid
opening may also do so

The "Westside Park
Court Renovations" shall
be the project as de-
scribed in the specifica-

p.m. Bidder is responsible
for all cost associated with
obtaining a full set of
specifications, plans and
instructions to bidders.

All bids received at the
City of Greenwood City
Center, 300 South Madi-
son Avenue, Greenwood,
Indiana 46142 no later
than 2:00 P.M. on Sep-
tember 9, 2025, will be
opened publicly and read
aloud by the Bid Commit-
tee, in the City Meeting
Room, City Center, 300
South Madison Avenue,
1st Floor, Greenwood, In-
diana, 46142 at approxi-
mately 2:00 P.M. (local
time), September 9, 2025.
All bids received after 2:00
P.M. on September 9,
2025 will be returned uno-
pened. Bids will be taken
under advisement for an
award at a later date.
Contract may be awarded
at the Parks and Recrea-
tion Board Meeting at 5:00
P.M. on September 9,
2024.

Bids are to be submit-
ted on a fully completed
Indiana Form #96
(Revised 2013). Each bid
shall be accompanied by a
certified check or accepta-
ble bid bond, in a sum of
not less than ten percent
(10%) of the total base bid
amount. Bids shall be in
sealed envelopes marked
with the name and place
of business of the bidder
and marked "Westside
Park Court Renovations"
A performance bond
equal to the contract price
and a payment bond to in-
sure the payment of any
subcontractors, contract
laborers, material suppli-
ers and persons furnishing
services will be required
upon award of contract.

No bid shall be with-
drawn after scheduled
closing time for receipts of
bids for at least forty-five
(45) days. The Board re-
serves the right to reject
any or all bids, to accept
all or any part of any bid
received, to waive any and
all informalities in bidding.
The Board will accept the
lowest responsible and re-
sponsive bid.
