NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given
that Johnson County, Indi-
ana, acting by and through
its Board of Commission-
ers, will receive sealed
bids at the Office of the
Auditor in Johnson County
Courthouse West Annex,
86 West Court Street,
Franklin, IN 46131, for the
Johnson County Juvenile
Detention Entrance Re-
construction Project. Bids
are due no later than
10:00 a.m. (local time) on
Monday, August 11, 2025.
Bids received after this
time will be returned uno-
pened. E-mailed or faxed
bids will not be accepted.
Specifications, Instruc-
tion to Bidders, and Bid
Forms may be obtained by
contacting Wes Harrison,
County Project Manager,
at wharrison@lhb-eng.
com or (317) 431-3863.
Bid security in the
amount of 2% of the bid
amount, including alter-
nates, must accompany
each bid in accordance
with the Instruction to Bid-
ders. Bid Security shall be
in the form of a bid bond,
cashier's check, or certi-
fied check which shall be
payable to the Board of
Commissioners of John-
son County, Indiana.
The successful bidder
will be required to furnish
performance and payment
bonds for one hundred
percent (100%) of the con-
tract price prior to the exe-
cution of contracts.
The Commissioners re-
serve the right to accept or
reject and bid and to
waive any irregularities in
bidding. All bids may be
held for a period not to ex-
ceed ninety (90) days be-
fore awarding contracts.
A pre-bid meeting will
be held at the entrance to
the Juvenile Detention
Center 1121 Hospital
Road, Franklin, IN 46131
at 10:00 a.m. on Thurs-
day, July 24, 2025, to pro-
vide an opportunity for vis-
ual inspection and clarifi-
cation regarding the Proj-
ect Specifications. Bidder
attendance is mandatory.
