NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING BY THE
BOARD OF SCHOOL
TRUSTEES OF THE
CENTER GROVE
COMMUNITY SCHOOL
CORPORATION,
JOHNSON COUNTY,
INDIANA

The citizens of the Cen-
ter Grove Community
School Corporation, John-
son County, Indiana (the
School Corporation), are
hereby notified that the
Board of School Trustees
of the School Corporation
(the Board) proposes to
pay for the costs incurred,
or to be incurred, by the
School Corporation in con-
nection with the
2025/2026 District-Wide
Long-Term Capital Main-
tenance and Equipping
Project, as defined and
described in the resolution
adopted by the Board on
March 20, 2025
(2025/2026 District-Wide
Long-Term Capital Main-
tenance and Equipping
Project) with the pro-
ceeds of general obliga-
tion bonds to be issued by
the School Corporation in
one or more series or
issues, to be designated
as the Center Grove
Community School Corpo-
ration, Johnson County,
Indiana, General Obliga-
tion Bonds, Series 2025
(collectively, the 2025
General Obligation
Bonds). A portion of the
proceeds of the 2025
General Obligation Bonds
will also be used to pay for
all or a portion of the costs
and expenses incurred in
connection with or on ac-
count of the issuance of
the 2025 General Obliga-
tion Bonds. The 2025
General Obligation Bonds
will be issued in an aggre-
gate original principal
amount not to exceed
$5,300,000, and each
series will have a final ma-
turity date of no later than
ten (10) years from the
date such series of the
2025 General Obligation
Bonds is issued, and bear
interest at a maximum rate
or rates not to exceed
5.00%, the exact rate or
rates to be determined by
negotiated sale with Rob-
ert W. Baird & Co. Incor-
porated.
Notice is hereby given
by the undersigned that
the Board will, on October
20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
(local time), in the Board
Room of the School Cor-
porations Education Serv-
ice Center, located at
4800 West Stones Cross-
ing Road, Greenwood, In-
diana, conduct a public
hearing regarding the mat-
ter of appropriating the
proceeds of the 2025
General Obligation Bonds
and investment earnings
thereon. All interested par-
ties are entitled and en-
couraged to attend to
present their testimony
and ask any questions rel-
ative to the 2025/2026
District-Wide Long-Term
Capital Maintenance and
Equipping Project or the
appropriation of the pro-
ceeds of the 2025 General
Obligation Bonds and the
investment earnings
thereon.
Subsequent to the pub-
lic hearing, the Board ex-
pects to consider adoption
of a resolution regarding
the appropriating of the
proceeds of the 2025
General Obligation Bonds
and the investment earn-
ings thereon for the pur-
poses described herein.
