NOTICE OF HEARING
REGARDING INCREASE
IN ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATION IN
CONNECTION WITH
THE 2025 MIDDLE
SCHOOL CENTRAL
RENOVATION AND
FACILITY UPDATE
PROJECT

Interested persons, tax-
payers and residents of
the Center Grove Commu-
nity School Corporation,
Johnson County, Indiana
(the School Corporation),
are hereby notified that on
October 20, 2025, at 7:00
p.m. (applicable Eastern
Time), the Board of
School Trustees of the
School Corporation (the
Board), in the Board
Room at the Center Grove
Education Service Center,
located at 4800 West
Stones Crossing Road,
Greenwood, Indiana, in
connection with financing
all or any portion of the
2025 Middle School Cen-
tral Renovation and Facil-
ity Update Project (as de-
fined and described in the
resolution adopted by the
Board on March 20, 2025)
will hold a public hearing
on the matter of increasing
the appropriation of the
portion of the Funds (as
hereinafter defined) re-
ceived by the School Cor-
poration to be used to pay
for a portion of the costs of
the 2025 Middle School
Central Renovation and
Facility Update Project.
The Funds consist of a
portion of the bond pre-
mium and interest earn-
ings on the proceeds of
the Center Grove 2000
School Building Corpora-
tion Ad Valorem Property
Tax First Mortgage Bonds,
Series 2025 (collectively,
the Funds).
On July 24, 2025, the
Board approved an addi-
tional appropriation to pay
for a portion of the 2025
Middle School Central
Renovation and Facility
Update Project in an
amount not to exceed
$17,000,000. Based on
this information, taking
into account the amount
received at the time the
above-referenced bonds,
the Board will consider in-
creasing the existing addi-
tional appropriation for the
2025 Central Middle
School Construction Fund
by an additional
$2,700,000. Said in-
creased appropriation is in
addition to any appropria-
tions provided for in the
existing budget and tax
law or previously ap-
proved by the Board for
any of the foregoing proj-
ect. Money to cover said
increased appropriation is
to be provided from the
Funds received by the
School Corporation in the
amount equal to each of
the increased appropria-
tion. At said public hear-
ing, all persons shall have
the right to appear and be
heard on the necessity of
the increase of said appro-
priation.
