NOTICE TO
TAXPAYERS OF
ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATION
HEARING
Notice is hereby given
to the taxpayers of the
Greenwood Community
School Corporation (the
"School Corporation") that
the Board of School Trus-
tees (the "Board") of the
School Corporation will
meet at School Corpora-
tions Administration Build-
ing, 605 West Smith Val-
ley Road, Greenwood, In-
diana, at the hour of 7:00
p.m. (Local Time) on Au-
gust 19, 2025, to consider
the following additional ap-
propriation which the
Board considers neces-
sary to meet the need
existing at this time:
An appropriation in the
amount not to exceed
$10,000,000, plus invest-
ment earnings thereon, on
account of the (i) renova-
tion of and improvements
to Isom Elementary
School, including site im-
provements and the pur-
chase of equipment and
technology; and (ii) reno-
vation of and improve-
ments to facilities through-
out the School Corpora-
tion, including renovations
and improvements at
Westwood Elementary
School; renovations and
improvements at Green-
wood High School, includ-
ing classroom renova-
tions, site improvements,
and athletics improve-
ments; and the purchase
of equipment and technol-
ogy in the School Corpo-
ration (collectively, the
"Project"), including the in-
cidental expenses neces-
sary to be incurred in con-
nection with the Project.
The funds to meet such
additional appropriation
are to be provided by the
sale of real estate to the
Greenwood School Build-
ing Corporation.
The foregoing appropri-
ation is in addition to all
appropriations provided
for in the existing budget
and tax levy, and a need
for such appropriation
exists by reason of the in-
adequacy of the present
buildings to provide nec-
essary school facilities.
Taxpayers of the
School Corporation ap-
pearing at the meeting
shall have the right to be
heard in respect to the ad-
ditional appropriation.
