NOTICE TO
TAXPAYERS
REGARDING A
DETERMINATION OF
THE CENTER GROVE
COMMUNITY SCHOOL
CORPORATION,
JOHNSON COUNTY,
INDIANA, TO ENTER
INTO A PROPOSED
FIFTH AMENDMENT TO
LEASE OF FACILITIES
OPERATED BY THE
SCHOOL
CORPORATION

Owners of real prop-
erty, and registered voters
residing, in the Center
Grove Community School
Corporation, Johnson
County, Indiana (the
School Corporation),
hereby are given notice
that the Board of School
Trustees of the School
Corporation (the Board)
has determined, at its
meeting held June 19,
2025, that (I) a need exists
for the 2025 Middle
School Central Renova-
tion and Facility Update
Project, as defined and
described in the resolution
adopted by the Board on
March 20, 2025, and (II) to
the extent permitted by
law to take all of the nec-
essary steps to finance all
or a portion of the costs of
all, or as many as is possi-
ble based on the facts and
circumstances at the time,
of the projects identified in
the 2025 Middle School
Central Renovation and
Facility Update Project by
entering into a proposed
fifth amendment lease (the
Fifth Amendment) be-
tween the Center Grove
2000 School Building Cor-
poration, as lessor (the
Building Corporation),
and the School Corpora-
tion, as lessee, upon all or
any portion of any of the
premises subject to the
Fifth Amendment. The
Building Corporation, as
lessor, will issue first mort-
gage bonds in one or
more series secured by
and payable from the
lease payments under the
Fifth Amendment (the
Bonds).

The total maximum
original aggregate princi-
pal amount of the Bonds
issued to fund all or any
portion of the 2025 Middle
School Central Renova-
tion and Facility Update
Project will not exceed
Seventeen Million Dollars
($17,000,000). The maxi-
mum term for any series
of the Bonds will not ex-
ceed twenty (20) years
from the date of issue and
the lease rental set forth in
the Fifth Amendment with
respect to Premises will
have a maximum term not
to exceed twenty-one (21)
years, beginning on the
date that the first series of
Bonds are issued by the
Building Corporation in
connection with the 2025
Middle School Central
Renovation and Facility
Update Project (which is
for a term that is four (4)
years longer than the cur-
rent term assuming the
Bonds are issued no later
than December 31, 2025),
which annual lease rental
payment will not exceed
Eight Million Dollars
($8,000,000), and which
annual lease rental will be
payable in semiannual in-
stallments commencing no
earlier than June 30 of the
year immediately following
the issuance of the first
series of the Bonds, and
thereafter on June 30 and
December 31 of each year
during the term of the Fifth
Amendment.
