NOTICE TO
TAXPAYERS OF
DETERMINATION TO
ISSUE BONDS
Taxpayers of the White-
land Fire Protection Dis-
trict (the District) are
hereby notified that the
Town Council of the Town
of Whiteland, Indiana (the
Town), acting as the
Board of Fire Trustees
(the Board) of the Dis-
trict, has determined to is-
sue fire protection district
bonds of the District in ac-
cordance with Indiana
Code 36-8-11, in an ag-
gregate principal amount
of not to exceed
$1,460,000 for the pur-
pose of financing (i) the
acquisition of certain fire
protection vehicles and
equipment, including, but
not limited to, acquisition
of a new fire engine, a
new ladder truck and other
emergency vehicles and
related equipment, and (ii)
repairs and upgrades to
existing vehicles and
equipment, all for use
within the District. This no-
tice is provided in accord-
ance with Indiana Code
6-1.1-20-5.
