AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING THE
JOHNSON COUNTY
CORONER OFFICE FEE
SCHEDULE

WHEREAS, pursuant
to Indiana Code
36-1-3-2, the State of Indi-
ana grants all units of gov-
ernment all powers neces-
sary for the effective oper-
ation of government as to
local affairs; and
WHEREAS, County
governments have all
powers necessary to con-
duct the affairs of the
County even when not ex-
plicitly granted by statute;
WHEREAS, the John-
son County Coroner has
received requests from
other public officials, juris-
dictions, and organizations
for use of the Johnson
County Coroners morgue
and other facilities; and
WHEREAS, other
counties in the State of In-
diana currently charge a
fee for similar services;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the
best interest of Johnson
County that a fee be as-
sessed for such services.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE BOARD OF COM-
MISSIONERS OF JOHN-
SON COUNTY, INDIANA:
This Ordinance is titled
Coroners Office Fee
Schedule, and the follow-
ing fee schedule is
adopted for the Johnson
County Coroners Office
and shall take effect upon
passage:

Service Fee
Use of autopsy room, con-
sumable goods and au-
topsy equipment by Indi-
ana counties $300.00 per
autopsy
Cremation Authorization
for Non-JCCO Cases/
Consultations $25.00
