NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING ON
PROPOSED RATES
AND CHARGES

Property owners, rate-
payers and other inter-
ested parties in or served
or to be served by the
solid waste removal of the
Town of Bargersville are
hereby notified that an or-
dinance establishing rates
and charges for services
to be rendered by the
Town, was introduced at a
meeting of the Town
Council which was held on
July 14, 2026. At a meet-
ing of the Town Council to
be held at 1:00 p.m., on
August 25, 2026, in the
Bargersville Town Hall, 24
N. Main Street,
Bargersville, Indiana
46106, there will be a pub-
lic hearing on the matter of
the rates and charges,
and consideration of adop-
tion of the Ordinance,
which provides the follow-
ing regarding rates: See
Exhibit A, which sets forth
the proposed rates.
At such hearing and
prior to final adoption of
said ordinance all inter-
ested parties may appear
and be heard. A copy of
the Ordinance may be ex-
amined at the Town Hall.
If passed, the new
charges will be effective
after a contract for solid
waste removal has been
negotiated and a public
hearing held on the con-
tract for solid waste re-
moval services has been
held and a contract
awarded.
