Notice is hereby given
that the Johnson County
Drainage Board, on the
4th of August, 2026 at
6:00 P.M. in the Audito-
rium of the Johnson
County Courthouse Annex
in Franklin, Indiana, will
hold a public hearing on a
request by Merus for the
Drainage Board Approval
of the Outlet to the Canary
Ditch for the 40 acre site
called Whiteland Indus-
trial, a tract of land located
in Pleasant Township,
Whiteland, Indiana, at the
southwest corner of
Whiteland Road and Gra-
ham Road in Whiteland,
Johnson County, Indiana.
The property involved is
legally described as:
LAND DESCRIPTION
A part of the East Half
of the Northwest Quarter
and a part of the North
Half of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 26,
Township 13 North,
Range 4 East of the Sec-
ond Principal Meridian,
described as follows:
Beginning at the North-
east corner of the East
Half of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section;
thence West on the North
line thereof 904.00 feet;
thence South parallel to
the East line of said Half
Quarter Section 1927.43
feet to a point 776.07 feet
North of the South line of
said Half Quarter Section;
thence East parallel to last
said South line 904.00 feet
to the East line of said
Half Quarter Section;
thence North on said East
line 1927.43 feet to the
Place of Beginning, con-
taining 40.00 acres, more
or less.
