Johnson County, with
funding from the Federal
Highway Administration
(FHWA) and administra-
tive oversight from the In-
diana Department of
Transportation (INDOT), is
planning to undertake a
bridge project. The project
is located on CR 750 W
over Henderson Creek.
The project area begins
approximately 0.08 mile
south of the intersection of
CR 750 W and CR 100
North (N) and continues
south along CR 750 W for
approximately 300 ft (0.05
mi) in Union Township,
Johnson County, Indiana.
Under the preferred al-
ternative, the proposed
project intends to replace
the existing bridge (Bridge
No. 56) with a single-span,
prestressed concrete box
beam bridge with integral
end bents and approach
slabs with spillslopes. Rip-
rap will be placed on the
spillslopes for scour pro-
tection. The proposed
bridge will be constructed
on the existing alignment.
It is anticipated that the
proposed structure will
provide a clear roadway
width of 30.0 feet and an
out-to-out coping width of
30.5 feet. It is anticipated
that the proposed bridge
will have an approximate
length of 66.5 feet. Ap-
proximately 0.5 acres of
permanent right-of-way
(ROW) and approximately
0.2 acre of temporary
ROW will be acquired for
the proposed project.
The proposed action
does not impact properties
listed in or eligible for the
National Register of His-
toric Places (NRHP). The
Indiana Department of
Transportation (INDOT),
on behalf of the FHWA,
has issued a No Historic
Properties Affected find-
ing for the project due to
the fact that no historic
properties are present
within the Area of Poten-
tial Effects (APE). In ac-
cordance with the National
Historic Preservation Act,
the views of the public are
being sought regarding
the effect of the proposed
project on the historic ele-
ments as per 36 CFR
800.2(d), 800.3(e) and
800.6(a)(4). Pursuant to
36 CFR 800.4(d)(1), the
documentation specified in
36 CFR 800. 11(d) is
available for inspection in
the Evansville, Indiana, of-
fice of Cultural Resource
Analysts, Inc. Additionally,
this documentation can be
viewed electronically by
accessing INDOTs Sec-
tion 106 document posting
website IN SCOPE at
http://erms12c.indot.in.gov/Section106Documents .

serves as the basis for the
No Historic Properties Af-
fected finding. The views
