Notice of Public Hearing

The Edinburgh Town
Council will hold a public
hearing on the 9th day of
February 2026 at 6:00
p.m. in the Town Hall lo-
cated at 107 S. Holland
Street, Edinburgh, Indi-
ana, to consider a petition
by Angela M. Kelsay, for
consideration of an ordi-
nance annexing certain
property contiguous to the
boundaries of the Town of
Edinburgh and a resolu-
tion adopting a fiscal plan
of services for the annexa-
tion of certain territory.
This request is for the an-
nexation of approximately
1.30 acres commonly
known as 7995 S. US 31
Edinburgh, IN 46124, le-
gally described as follows:
Lots numbered 35 and
41 of the Plat of Heckman
Village, Recorded in Plat
Book 3, Page 54, in the of-
fice of the recorder of
Johnson County, Indiana,
as recorded in documents
numbered 2013-004477
and 2013-004479 in the
Office of the Recorder of
Johnson County, Indiana.

And including all contig-
uous areas of public high-
ways and rights-of-way of
the public highways which
are not already contained
within the corporate
boundaries of the Town of
Edinburgh.
Subject to any and all
easements, agreements
and restrictions of record.
Written suggestions or
objections to provisions of
said request may be filed
with the Edinburgh Town
Clerk, at or before such
meeting and will be heard
by the Edinburgh Town
Council at the time and
place specified. Hearings
may be continued from
time to time as may be
necessary.
Interested persons de-
siring to present their
views upon the said re-
quest, either in writing or
verbally, will be given the
opportunity to be heard at
the above mentioned time
and place by attending the
meeting. Copies of the pe-
tition may be examined at
the Clerk-Treasurers Of-
fice located at 107 S. Hol-
land Street, Edinburgh, IN
46124.
