NOTICE OF GRANT
PROGRAM
Notice is hereby given
to publicize the availability
of grant opportunities
through the Johnson
County Opioid Remedia-
tion Grant Program. The
Board of Commissioners
has established an advi-
sory board, the Johnson
County Opioid Remedia-
tion Advisory Board, to as-
sist it in screening appli-
cant eligibility, evaluating
and scoring grant applica-
tions, and making recom-
mendations to the Board
of Commissioners for
awarding Opioid Remedia-
tion funding. The Johnson
County Opioid Remedia-
tion Advisory Board will re-
view all grant applications
in accordance with this
document and the Interlo-
cal Agreement Establish-
ing the Johnson County,
Indiana Opioid Remedia-
tion Grant Program Advi-
sory Board, passed July 8,
2024, to ensure that each
applicant and proposed
project meets eligibility re-
quirements. Applications
shall be processed once a
year. Proposals must be
submitted in a written for-
mat. Applications grants
awarded by Johnson
County must be emailed
to tcostley@
johnsoncounty.in.gov with
the subject line: Johnson
County Opioid Remedia-
tion Grant Program Appli-
cation or delivered to the
Johnson County Commis-
sioners Office at 86 W.
Court Street, Franklin, IN
46131 by the close of
business at 4:30 p.m. EST
on June 30th, 2026. If
mailed, applications must
be postmarked by June
30th, 2026.
The Johnson County
Opioid Remediation Grant
Advisory Board will hold a
public meeting for se-
lected applicant presenta-
tion proposals on July
13th, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.
EST in the Johnson
County West Annex Audi-
torium located at 86 West
Court Street, Franklin, IN
46131.
Grants are scheduled to
be awarded by the John-
son County Commission-
ers at their July 27th,
2026, public meeting at
ten a.m. EST. Once
awarded, all Opioid Reme-
diation Grants will be ad-
ministered through the
Johnson County Board of
Commissioners Office.
