HEARINGS OF THE
BOARD OF FIRE
TRUSTEES OF THE
BARGERSVILLE
COMMUNITY FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT,
JOHNSON COUNTY,
INDIANA
Notice is hereby given
that the Board of Fire
Trustees of the
Bargersville Community
Fire Protection District,
Johnson County, Indiana
(the "Board"), will, at its
meetings to be held on
Wednesday, March 11,
2026, at 6:00 p.m., local
time, and again on
Wednesday, March 18,
2026, at 6:00 p.m., local
time, at the Bargersville
Community Fire Depart-
ment, 3991 North State
Road 135, Franklin, IN
46131, conduct public
hearings regarding, and
then consider adoption of
a resolution making, a pre-
liminary determination for
the Board to enter into a
proposed lease between a
nonprofit building corpora-
tion, as lessor (the "Build-
ing Corporation"), and the
Bargersville Community
Fire Protection District,
Johnson County, Indiana
(the "District"), as lessee
(the "Lease"). The Lease
will be entered into in con-
nection with the financing
of all or a portion of (i) the
acquisition, construction,
installation, and equipping
of a new fire station, and
(ii) related improvements
and acquisitions. The
Lease will also finance all
or a portion of the ex-
penses incurred in con-
nection with or on account
of the issuance of bonds
by the Building Corpora-
tion. The District's lease
payments under such
Lease will be payable from
ad valorem property taxes
collected by the District on
all taxable property within
the geographical bounda-
ries of the District. At the
public hearings, the Board
will hear any objections to
and support for the pro-
posed project and the
Lease from the general
public.
