TENT OF RESOLUTION
OF THE CITY OF
GREENWOOD
REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION
AND NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING ON
RESOLUTION
Taxpayers of the City of
Greenwood Redevelop-
ment District and all other
persons affected hereby
are notified that the City of
Greenwood (the "City")
Redevelopment Com-
mission (the
"Commission"), at a meet-
ing held on November 4,
2025, adopted Resolution
2025-06 (the "Declaratory
Resolution") to (1) enlarge
the boundaries of the
Greenwood Eastside Eco-
nomic Development Area
and the Arlington Farms
Allocation Area to include
an additional tract of real
property (the
"Enlargement Property"
and the "New Allocation
Area") as identified within
the Plan Supplement of
Declaratory Resolution;
and (2) adopt the 2025 Ar-
lington Farms Supplement
to the Eastside Economic
Development Plan in order
to further the
Commission's redevelop-
ment efforts and to make
necessary improvements
to road and utility infra-
structure near and along
County Line Road, Five
Points Road, and Main
Street in a manner con-
sistent with and comple-
mentary to the Original
Plan, the Comprehensive
Plan, and the I-65 Corridor
Overlay Zone, (the
"Projects"), which will di-
rectly serve and benefit
the Arlington Farms Allo-
cation Area and the En-
largement Property by
making the property more
desirable for development
due to the enhancements
of the infrastructure and
local public improvements
in and near the Area.
The Commission will
use incremental real prop-
erty taxes levied and col-
lected in the New Alloca-
tion Area in accordance
with Indiana Code 36-7-14
and Indiana Code 36-7-25
to support, facilitate, and
fund the development of
the Projects. The Declar-
atory Resolution, the Plan
Supplement, and support-
ing data including maps
and plats describing the
New Allocation Area, have
been prepared and can be
inspected at the office of
the Greenwood Legal De-
partment, located at the
Greenwood City Center,
300 South Madison Ave-
nue, Greenwood, Indiana
46142, (the "Greenwood
City Center"), during regu-
lar business hours.
Notice is further given
that the Commission on
February 10, 2026, at 4:30
p.m. (Eastern Time), at
the Greenwood City Cen-
ter, will receive and hear
remonstrances and objec-
tions from persons inter-
ested in or affected by the
proceedings pertaining to
the proposed Projects and
other actions to be taken
under the Declaratory
Resolution. At the time
fixed for the hearing or at
any time prior thereto, any
person interested in the
proceedings may file a
written remonstrance with
the Commission, c/o the
Redevelopment
Commission's Recording
Secretary, Amanda Leach,
located at the Greenwood
City Center, 300 South
Madison Avenue, Green-
wood, Indiana 46142, if
filed prior to the time fixed
for the hearing, or with the
Recording Secretary of
the Commission if filed at
the hearing. At such hear-
ing, which may be ad-
journed from time to time,
the Commission will hear
all persons interested in
the proceedings and all re-
monstrances that have
been filed. After consider-
ing the evidence, the
Commission will take final
action to determine the
public utility and benefit of
the proposed Projects and
other actions to be taken
under the Declaratory
Resolution, by either con-
firming, modifying and
confirming, or rescinding
the Declaratory Resolu-
tion, and will take any
other action deemed ap-
propriate by the Commis-
sion.
