TAXPAYERS OF
PROPOSED
ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given
to the taxpayers of the
City of Greenwood, John-
son County, Indiana, that
the proper legal officers of
said municipal corpora-
tion, the Common Council,
at its regular meeting
place, Council Chambers,
Greenwood City Center,
300 South Madison Ave-
nue, Greenwood, Indiana,
at 7:00 P.M. O'Clock (local
time) on Monday, Decem-
ber 2, 2024 will consider
the following appropriation
in excess of the budget for
the current year in con-
nection with Greenwood
Common Council Ordi-
nance No. 24-42. The re-
quested appropriated
amount is from the Ameri-
can Rescue Plan Coro-
navirus Local Fiscal Re-
covery Fund in the amount
of $220,000.00 to Other
Services and Charges -
431 Professional Services and in the amount of
$270,000.00 to Capital
Outlays - 441 Land.

Taxpayers appearing at
such meeting in person or
via Zoom.us shall have a
right to be heard thereon.
The additional appropria-
tion as finally made shall
be referred to the Depart-
ment of Local Government
Finance, which Depart-
ment, upon receipt, shall
issue a written determina-
tion within fifteen (15)
days of receipt of the pro-
posal.
