Action Plan

Notice of public hearing
and 30-day comment pe-
riod Greenwood will re-
ceive $297,789 in Com-
munity Development Block
Grant (CDBG) funding
from the US Department
of Housing and Urban De-
velopment (HUD) to begin
projects on October 1,
2026. The City invites resi-
dents, neighborhood
groups, social service
agencies, business com-
munity members, and in-
terested citizens to partici-
pate in the development of
the Action Plan for the
2026 Program Year
(PY2026).

present the projects, types
of activities, and funding
for the 2026 Program
Year.
June 18 - July 18, 2026,
30-day Comment Period
Greenwood will post the
PY2026 Action Plan for re-
view and public comments
on the City's website
www.greenwood.in.gov/CDBG and at the reference
desk in the Greenwood
Public Library. Comment-
ers must include their
name and ensure Green-
wood receives comments
by 5:00 PM on July 18,
2026. Greenwood will con-
sider all formal public
comments on the Action
Plan before submitting the
document and comments
to HUD by August 14,
2026.
